Innovative Plastic Packaging Solutions
We design, develop, and manufacture a diverse range of rigid plastic packaging items including closures, adapters, holders, bottles, and cartridges for various industries. Our primary focus lies in producing high-value-added plastic packaging such as caps, closures, and precision technical parts.
Through custom developments initiated by clients or internally, we continuously enhance and broaden our product portfolio. With our in-house R&D department and tooling shop, we're equipped to meet your unique injection molding requirements, from concept to mass production.
The Valves Series
A significant domain we specialize in involves providing valve solutions for the aerosol and adhesives market. Our Solid Matter Valves offer alternative thermoplastic serving as replacements for silicon materials. All our valves are rubber-free solutions, ensuring non-sticking performance.
They are compatible with standard PU guns and filling lines, offering a versatile application for both straw and gun foams. With a long shelf life, experiencing less than 5g/year gas loss, each valve is patented to guarantee its unique features and benefits.
-
RF-07 is the first generation of a competitive solid matter valve, now sold and used over 100 million times, demonstrating shelf life performance and exceptional durability compared to typical rubber valves for the PU industry, particularly when used in regions with high humidity climates.
-
The RF-09, originally designed in 2009 for a PUR foam manufacturer, has been offered as a customized product, comprising six parts.
-
Introduced in 2016, the RF-16 represents the 3rd generation of MikaVent valves, featuring a patented design. This latest iteration includes a membrane between the valve house and stem, along with an enhanced stem. Offering an affordable and more sustainable solution, RF-16 is freely available to all our customers. It is composed of five parts, with an annual capacity of 25 million units.
Aerosol and Sealant Packaging Systems
Drawing from our vast experience in the adhesives and sealants sectors, we've acquired substantial expertise in two-component packaging systems utilized across various industries. Our product development endeavors prioritize addressing industry-specific packaging challenges to deliver substantial value to the sector as a whole. All our adaptor and applicator solutions are designed with this objective in mind.
-
Designed specifically for a leading PU foam manufacturer, this product aimed to provide hobby users with the advantages of foam guns. DIY and non-professional users typically resort to disposable cans of PU foam, often packaged inexpensively. Releasing the self-expanding polyurethane foam from the bottle typically requires the use of both hands, which can be inconvenient when installing windows, door frames, or filling cavities while also holding an object.
Benefits
Granted Re-useablility of the products for weeks
Ease of use with one hand only
360° rotatibility
Stop and go application – usability multiple times
Includes two wrapped protection gloves inside
Features a warranty lock to prevent accidental dispensing.
-
Pimsring is a patented adaptor ring tailored for our PU foam cans. Featuring a threaded design, it provides a click & fix solution for securely attaching the can to the adaptor. Available in multiple sizes, Pimsring ensures compatibility with any standard bottle in the industry.
-
Our specially designed hand adaptor enables one-handed dispensing of PU foam, ensuring a convenient experience even for non-professional users. It allows for smooth dispensing, even when the bottle is flipped or held at an angle. This versatile adaptor is compatible with both our rubber-free valve and standard rubber valves, providing enhanced sealing when used with rubber valves.
2K Membrane System For Pur Foam
Two-component foam cans face challenges such as short shelf life and residue formation inside the bottle. Typically, the components mix in standard containers, leading to premature chemical reactions and rendering the foam unusable. After one use, cans typically remain viable for only 9-12 months on average, resulting in environmentally harmful packaging waste. To address this, we've developed the MIKA 2k membrane system, which entails a complete redesign of the internal structure and seal of two-component aerosols.
Following extensive experimentation and testing, our engineers have devised two solutions which entail a complete redesign of the internal rubber-free structure: the piston mixing and membrane system. Both systems ensure that the two components only mix upon activation. A release button at the bottom of the sealed material allows mixing only when the can is open.
Moreover, by combining the MIKA-VENT rubberless aerosol valve with the 2-K membrane system, we have extended the shelf life to 24 months. This advancement offers a more environmentally friendly solution, reducing waste production.
