Tooling
Our manufacturing partners specialized 1900 m2 tooling shop is crucial for top-notch injection moulding. With 28 skilled experts, we handle all stages of mould design and production. By keeping this process in-house, we swiftly create prototypes for new projects, giving our customers a competitive edge in cost, quality, and delivery times.
The right tool for the right job
-
Our Designers and Engineers develop moulds with CAD/CAM softwares including PTC Creo, ToolDesign and PowerMill, PowerShape.
-
Using state-of-the-art machinery like wire and block erosion machines, CNC-controlled millers, laser welding equipment, and start hole driller, we produce around 30 molds annually, spanning from standard designs to intricate ones featuring hot runner technology.
-
Our manufacturing partner stores and maintains hundreds of molds to the highest standards. Each tool is barcoded, treated with preservative oil, and undergoes regular maintenance.
Injection Moulding
Full speed ahead
Our successful product development process includes prototyping and utilizes an integrated CAD/CAM system. We create product drawings and mold lists through our own R+D engineers or customer input. Before designing molds, we thoroughly test and confirm feasibility.
-
We provide fully automated high-tolerance precision injection molding services for high-volume production, optimized for cost, quality, and lead times to minimize unit costs.
-
Our specialized services cater to the full production of parts in low volumes (10,000 parts or fewer), bridging the gap between prototypes and high-volume production. This small batch manufacturing is ideal for highly specific products or new market entries.
-
In addition to common materials like PE and PP, we frequently use specialty, high-performance materials such as ABS, PC, PPS, POM, PA, and COC.
Process Automation
The idea phase is complete and feasibility has been determined. We now focus on processing complex requirements with the help of our customers, external partners, and suppliers. We prioritize functionality, aesthetics, economics, and ecology. Our joint effort brings us closer to our ultimate goal: the final product.
Where there’s a will there’s a way
-
Through automation, we not only enhance assembly speed but also ensure top-notch quality. Leveraging high-speed camera tests, a unique pressure validation test system, and other customized solutions, we guarantee that 100% of the automatically assembled products meet all customer criteria.
-
Sheet material is refilled using vacuum systems, removing the need for manual loading. Operators load the dryer, supplying the exact raw material amount to injection molding machines, maintaining a clean factory environment through full automation.
-
We automate simpler processes by employing a 3-axis robot above injection molding machines for in-line automation. Additionally, certain assembly steps are automated, occurring both in-line and out-line.
Assembly
To top it all
We tailor complex assembly processes to meet industry-specific requirements for each product. Our assembly services span from manual assembly on a dedicated line to fully automated solutions, including comprehensive part testing.
-
Ultrasonic welding facilitates the assembly of parts without the need for bolts, nails, or adhesives, offering a clean, precise, and cost-effective solution. Beyond its cost advantage, it provides a flexible and aesthetically pleasing method. Ultrasonic welding can join plastics and blends of different types, as long as their molecular structures are compatible.
-
Pad printing stands as the most commonly utilized decoration method for plastic applications. We excel in printing on a diverse range of plastics, including various polyethylenes (HDPE and LDPE), ABS, polypropylene (PP), and polycarbonate, accommodating multiple languages.
-
Plasma treatment, enhances surface adhesion, increases wettability, and improves printing and bonding characteristics by creating a hydrophilic surface. The effects of plasma treatment can last for several months with proper storage of the treated parts.
